Learn more about UV gel nail modeling below.
If you would like to carry out gel modeling yourself at home, you will need a gel polish starter kit.
Set up your workspace. Now disinfect and degrease your natural nails with a cleaner. Push back the cuticles with a rosewood stick and remove cuticle debris from the nail plate.
File the natural nail into shape and shorten it if necessary. Then use the buffer to matt the nail and remove the dust with a dusting brush.
Select a suitable tip size for each nail. Then apply the nail glue to the tip and press it onto the natural nail. Use a tip cutter to shorten the tip and file the transition flat to your nail.
Then use Cleaner to remove dirt and fine particles from the nail. Apply gel layers. A small amount of gel is applied to the lower edge of the nail with a brush and drawn in one stroke to the end of the nail. Avoid contact of the gel with cuticles and nail walls.
The hand can now be placed in the light-curing device for 120 seconds. Then use a gel cleanser to remove the smear film. Now comes the build-up gel, which is applied thinly. This gel layer is also dried again in the light-curing device. If there are bumps on the nails, they can be removed by filing.
The third layer of gel is a sealer gel or finish gel. Also, apply this with a brush and avoid contact with the cuticles. The gel is dried for two minutes. The sweat layer is then removed with a cleaner.
To make your gel modeling more durable, you can apply clear varnish to the gel nails. Put some more nail oil on your hands and cuticles and massage it in.
